I remember that I had to change some settings to get it to be seen as a camera by the operating system and the control application. Is the D300 showing as a USB memory device on your computer?
All I get is a message saying camera not found (I have a D300) I just downloaded Camera Control 2 trial version (ver 2.7.0) to work on my laptop running windows Vista home premium 64 bit. Still havent found a way for Europeans to buy an update for Camera Control Pro 1 to CCPro 2 !
